Tired of Hillary v. Obama? Here's some comic relief!

Check out live video coverage of Barak Obama's worst nightmare, Alan Keyes, at the Constitution Party's presidential nominating convention in Kansas City.   Keyes, who quit the GOP last week, is seeking the CP nomination for president and the chance to have another shot at debating Obama this Fall.

The Keyester is not a shoo-in, however.  There is considerable opposition based on his stance in favor of the Iraq War, and CP old-timers (and they really are old from the pictures I've seen) are suspicious of his neocon connections, especially Bill Kristol who was his roommate in college.

Keyes and the other candidates are expected to speak before the delegates on Friday, with the nominating vote to take place Saturday morning.  If Keyes does not get the nomination there is still the possibility he may run as an Independent ala Ralph Nader.  More probable, like old blowhards who never shut-up, he'll just fade away into the nether reaches of reactionary wingnuttery, hate radio and the lunatic blogosphere.
